The designed course structure takes root in Sanford Meisner technique. This course will help participants to understand the term reality of doing while acting in better manner by understanding the real behavior of human beings. We will try to bridge the gap between mental preparation as an actor and actually doing it in the scene through series of improvisations and various other exercises.

Key learnings from the Sanford Meisner Workshop:

1. Acting is about Listening, Not Performing

Meisner drills this hard:

  • Stop planning your next line or emotion.
  • React truthfully to what your partner is giving you right now.
  • Don’t do anything unless something happens to make you do it.

2. Repetition Isn’t Mechanical - It’s Alive

The repetition exercise teaches:

  • Presence.
  • Emotional honesty.
  • Staying out of your head.

3.  Your Partner is your Script

Instead of focusing on:

  • How you look.
  • How you sound.
  • Whether you’re good.

You focus on:

  • What the other person is doing to you.
  • How it genuinely affects you.

 4. Powerful for Camera Acting

Why it works so well on screen:

  • Micro reactions become alive.
  • Silence becomes active.
  • Stillness feels real, not dead
